Exactly what we needed. Our camper had the spare mounted underneath the camper and it was literally a two-man job to get it down and that was in the drive way. Now think about being a senior, in the rain, at night, on the side of the road thats right you need to be set up if this happens to you. - DB
I purchased this to put on my RV Trailer; it installed in minutes and supports my 222/75R15 spare tire with ease. I also have 6 lug rims, and I had no problem putting the spare on it. It also has a nice feature where you pull a pin to lower the tire down to get to your rear storage OR if you don't have rear storage you can bolt it permanently upright. (It comes with the parts to do it either way.) I also liked the "lip" on the mounting plate that holds it to the bumper, it distributes the weight so the provided U-Bolts aren't carrying all the load. - PM
Well, what to say, hmm... Worked great out of the box!! Go figure!!! One cool thing is I did not want the swing down carrier, but when the carrier came all the needed items to make this a swing down carrier came with the unit... SO... I make it the swing down one. :) - JS
I had a tire holder that made the tire hang below the bumper, so ordered this one and it is exactly what I needed - XG
Installed easily. Really don't need the instructions for it. I decided to move it further left once it was on my camper and it took less then 5 minutes to remove the tire and slide the tire holder down. Fit the rear bumper perfectly. - CA
